New for September: Real-Time Signing, Stickers & Photo Captions

With our street team heading to Manchester Pride, we've had a lot we wanted to do to make sure the experience was as good as possible. We've made lots of changes to better support patchy network connections and we've added a bit more colour and rainbow to our cards. We're also very excited to annouce real-time updates for collaborative card signing!

New artist & new designs

We are thrilled to welcome Lee Matthews as our newest artist. As New Zelander based in Spain, she brings a distinctive, playful style with vibrant colours and charming heart character illustrations. Take a look at her range of heart cards.

We've also introduced two new categories:

• A dedicated, vibrant collection of Pride Cards celebrating love, diversity, and community.
• You don't always need an occasion to send a little love, and this is exactly where our 'Just Because' Cards come in.

We've also added new designs across our popular Birthday cards, Well Done and Leaving cards categories.

Sign together in real-time

Group cards are all about collaborationa and shared moments, we've made this even easier by introducing real-time syncronisation between everyone signing a card.
Whenever someone adds a message, moves a photo or switches to a new font size, you'll see the changes instantly and smoothly.

You can also look in the bottom right corner where there will be a presence indicator, for example "2 other people signing" if there's more than just you with the card open. Tap the new Finish button once you're done to finalise your changes.

Add personality with stickers

We want to make our cards fun to build and a real joy to receive, that's why we've launched Stickers! Our first collection of stickers is especially for Pride, so you'll find everything peace, love and rainbows ❤️🌈

While signing a card, tap the new Add a Sticker button and you'll be presented with our range of stickers. Tap one to add it to the card. Once added you will see options to rotate, move or delete the sticker.

Do more with photos

Following on from our photo launch last month, we've added some of your most requested photo tools to give your memories that extra personal touch:

• Photo captions: Add an optional caption, displayed beneath any photo in a 'polaroid' style.
• Take photos on mobile: Snap a fresh photo or selfie with your phone camera.
• Photo rotation: Rotate photos by 90° increments to get your photo the right way up.

And lots more improvements to the signing experience

We've made a collection of thoughtful improvements to make signing cards easier, friendlier, and completely stress-free:

• Messages are auto-saved as drafts locally, to make sure you never lose your progress.
• You will see the name of the recipient in the header of the card you are signing, to make sure you never mix up your wishes.
• If you sign a card as a guest, you will now only receive a single email with an edit link, which allows you to edit all your messages, photos and stickers.
• When editing a message or photo, we've added a new toolbar to make moving pages or deleting even easier.
• You'll now see a progress bar whilst uploading a photo, much better for slow or patchy connections.
• Cards also now load much more smoothly, and handle patchy connections better.
• Card organisers can now move any message to clean up a card before sending, or delete any accidental messages.
