I create atmospheric paintings that approach reality from a tangent, taking ordinary things and tilting them just slightly out of context: a banana peel becomes iconic, streetlights behave like liquid, and a jellyfish floats through space. The result is something peaceful, yet somewhat strange. I work mostly in acrylics with some digital work. These cards and fine art prints are faithful reproductions of the original paintings, produced using archival materials and pigment-based inks. My background is in STEM but art is the only path that brings me joy. I paint to explore questions that are too big to be answered with words. I live in Manchester, a city of both melancholy and ambition - the perfect home for a navel-gazing artist.

A striking and dramatic night scene, reproduced from the original acrylic painting. Warm light cuts through the night, as a solitary silhouetted figure makes their way home, viewed through a rain-specked lens. Perfect for lovers of cinematic lighting and neo noir style art.

Bold swaths of warm yellow and orange fill the lower sky, contrasting sharply with the cool, deep blues of the upper atmosphere. A bold beam from the sun reaches high, in contrast to the sky behind and drawing the eye towards the Manchester skyline. The city below is a silhouetted cluster of skyscrapers, painted in layers of indigo and violet. Perfect for lovers of expressive, bold art and dramatic atmospheric light.
