Signing a card

To make the process of signing a card completely friction-free, contributors do not need to provide any personal information to sign a card.

How to sign a card

The card organiser will have shared the unique Signing Link with you (for example on WhatsApp, Teams, Slack or email).

1. Open the link and view the card and messages added so far
2. Click Add Message on any inside page to open the message composer
3. Write your message, choose your preferred font style, colour, and select where to place your signature
4. Click Add to place your message on the card

Frequently Asked Questions

Can contributors sign the card without logging in?

Yes, absolutely. To make the process completely friction-free, contributors do not need to register, log in, or provide any personal information to sign a card.

Can contributors edit their messages?

Yes, contributors can edit their messages after adding them to the card.

• If the contributor chooses to provide their email, we will send them a secure Edit Link. This allows them to come back later and tweak their message.
• If they do not provide their email, they can still edit the message if they use the same browser.

Can the card organiser edit other people's messages?

No, the organiser can re-position messages but can never edit or delete them.

How secure is the signing link?

Security and privacy are really important to us, we've designed our cards with these as a top priority:

• Each card has its own unique signing link, using a randomly generated 16 character code, meaning there are over 79 sextillion possible links - making them unguessable
• The link is only available until the card is sent, after which it can no longer be accessed
• It's important that you only share the link with audiences who you're happy to have access to the card - and don't forget to check the recipient isn't in those channels!
